I have a bit of an obsession with cookbooks. Just ask my husband, he has pointed this out to me on one too many occasions. I feel like I already have most of them listed on Amazon, but I am always looking for new ones.

So instead of having the regular question and answer Friday, I thought I would ask you all a question. What is your favorite cookbook and why do you love it? Is it because of the beautiful photography, sentimental reasons, or something else? I can’t wait to hear about your favorites…I can always use one more (or maybe two) for my collection!

I love this recipe!!! Chocolate Delight is a three-layer dream. Just thinking about it makes me want to whip some up for after supper.  This dessert is perfect for these hot August evenings!

Chocolate Delight

Crust

1 Cup flour

1 Stick Butter

1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans

2 Tbs. Sugar

Combine crust ingredients and press into a greased 10″ square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes and let cool completely.

Layer #2

2 8oz. containers of Cool Whip

8 oz. of cream cheese softened

1 Cup of Sugar

Combine with mixer and layer over cooled crust.

Layer #3

2 Packages of Chocolate Instant Pudding

3 Cups of Cold Milk

Mix together and pour over layer #2. Let chill until set.

Serves 8
