I have gotten the chance to work personally with Mandy Bagwell several times and every time she has been nothing less than wonderful! Her dishes are absolutely beautiful and getting to know Mandy makes you appreciate her designs all the more.
There have been many occasions when Mandy has come to the rescue to help one of my customers. One time was a couple of years ago when a very sweet lady called me and she was completely overwhelmed. She was dying to finish her 12 sets of Simply Christmas place settings and wanted them before a Christmas party that she was hosting very soon.
Of course, this was in the height of the Christmas rush and I had just sold out of several of the pieces that she needed. Well, I called the company that manufactures M. Bagwell and they were sold out too…and they were not going to have any available until after her party.
I hated to bother Mandy, but knowing this poor lady’s stress level was at an all time high, I called to see if Mandy might have any dinner plates to spare. When I got a hold of her, it sounded like a party was going on in her gallery. She was obviously extremely busy! But sure enough, she made time for the sweet young hostess and was eager to help.
Mandy shipped them from Alabama directly to the young lady and she received them just in time for her party. My customer was thrilled that Mandy herself sent the dishes and relieved to have everything she needed.
I would love to do an interview with Mandy one day so that you all could get to know her better. But for now, this video will just have to do. Hope you enjoy seeing Mandy talk about how she got started in the business!
